Unleashing The Darkness.: A Review of Shaitaan Movie

Shaitaan, directed by Vikas Bahl, is a supernatural horror thriller and the Hindi remake of the blockbuster Gujarati film Vash.
The movie stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in the major roles. Netizens were enthusiastic and inquisitive about what the movie would be about from the moment the trailer was released, and the film lived up to the hype. The bone-chilling sounds and the film's dark and mysterious tone kept us hooked to our seats. The story revolves around Kabir (Ajay Devgn) and his family who on their way to their farm house meet Vanraj (R.Madhavan). Just as they begin to think of Vanraj as a wonderful person, they find out that he followed them to their farm house and they even realised that something was wrong with their daughter Jahnvi. Soon, they discover that Vanraj had hypnotised Janhvi from the moment he met them, that he practises dark magic, and that he came to take Janhvi with him. The film depicts the family's efforts to save Janhvi from Vanraj, as well as what Vanraj does to Janhvi and how the family plans to overcome him. Nobody will be able to predict the film's ending. Overall, this is a must-see film with multiple "what just happened" moments and one of the most unexpected and well-constructed climaxes. Do watch the film to find out how it ends.
